A must-have classic of succulent landscaping, Crassula ovata forms branching, thick elephantine trunk topped with a canopy of ovate shiny green leaves. Dense floral masses of star-shaped white flowers in winter months. The jade plant is a popular subject for bonsai training because of the inherent gnarly character of the thickened trunk and the ease with which it can be pruned and trained.
